Jamil Kassimali

Jamil is a licensed member of the Missouri Bar, and a registered member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis. He received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where his studies concentrated on intellectual property law. Prior to founding Kassimali Law, Jamil spent several years clerking at the Law Office of Rebecca Whittington in Carbondale, IL, and also assisted with legal matters arising from her position as City Attorney of Benton, IL. During this time, Jamil had the opportunity to work on both state and federal cases that encompassed a wide variety of legal issues, including: commercial and private real estate, insurance, child custody and support, sexual harassment, bankruptcy, employment discrimination, public administrative proceedings, estate planning, corporations, zoning, municipal transportation and nuisance ordinances, and criminal defense. Jamil was born and raised in Southern Illinois. His undergraduate studies took place at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
